We strive for 3 main goals.
#1 THROW HARDER, Who doesn’t like to throw hard? But how do we get there? Thru Flexibility, Arm Speed, Scap Retraction, Rotational Velo, Arm Speed, and synced up mechanics that allow us to be able to utilize our flexibility, arm speed, and scap retraction.Finding out how and what your deficiency is, is key to helping you throw harder.
#2 THROW LONGER, How do we throw longer? We throw more strikes and we have an arm that has the ability to handle a heavier load. It’s really simple if you want to throw longer in games and stop getting pulled after 2 innings of work we have to throw more strikes. Ive been a pitcher for 15 years I know that “JUST THROW STRIKES” Is not as easy as it sounds, and while sometimes it is a physical issue it can also be a mental issue and hurdle. Challenge the hitters more, THROW HARDER STRIKES.
#3 THROW HEALTHIER, When inexperienced pitchers try to “throw harder” a lot of times it can lead to injuries in the elbow and shoulder. Finding the right bio mechanical issues and correcting them will put your body in a better spot to stay healthier. Injuries like Tommy John and rotator cuff surgeries are on the rise for a reason. Bad mechanicals mixed with trying to throw harder to catch up in today’s game are leading to a massive increase in kids ability to stay healthy.
